Court ruling nixing Obamacare reimbursements is frozen until President-elect Trump takes office. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit has effectively ended the Obama Administration’s attempt to overturn a ruling that threatened to gut the Affordable Care Act, also referred to as Obamacare. The Appellate Court achieved this result by putting a key case on hold until after the president-elect takes office. The Appellate decision won’t have an immediate effect on the law, as the lower court ruling was put on hold pending the appeal
