Values

When the University of Florida christened Gary R. Gerson Hall in 2004 as the first, and only, free-standing public accountancy school in the country, the distinction served as a testament to the values ingrained by our founder. A mission statement is only an empty pledge otherwise.

Gerson Preston prides itself on being a trusted business partner, committed to excellent service on behalf of our clients with integrity and the highest ethical standards, as established by the Securities & Exchange Commission, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

We assist each client as an individual, addressing their specific needs through a focus on continued education and expert knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws and an array of professional regulations. Gerson Preston is committed to providing our people with the same professional and personal appreciation and attention, as we consistently create opportunities for advancement and life improvement.

We remain on the cutting edge as it relates to business advancements and the preservation of our environment. Our newly opened office in Miami’s Design District was designed to be environmentally sustainable and is hardwired to offer clients the most current technology, from full cloud capability with enhanced security to global presentation and online interaction functionality.

Our founder believed in being an active member of South Florida’s vibrant and diverse community, and 60 years later, that still holds true. Gerson Preston is dedicated to empowering its people with the knowledge that all individuals, regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, age or disability, will be treated equally. We encourage and expect our people to give back to the community through volunteer service, advocacy and empathy.

South Florida is our home. Our clients are our extended family. Together, we can meet the challenges of our changing world.
