Gerson Preston Participates in 2018 Miami Mercedes-Benz Corporate Run

The Mercedes-Benz Corporate Run is a South Florida staple since 1985, attracting local runners and companies for more than 30 years. Seen as a bonding exercise for co-workers, the Miami run alone has drawn in more than 845 companies and more than 28,000 participants from 850 companies. For the last six years, the run has chosen invest in its host communities by donating its proceeds to the local United Ways.

The organization focuses on education, financial stability and health – the building blocks for a good life. United Way invests in quality programs, advocates for better policies, engages people in the community and generates resources.

A growing number of local companies are showing their commitment to physical fitness by installing gyms and hiring exercise instructors. People can see personal improvements resulting from simple fitness programs, such as walking or running short distances regularly.
